I AM THE GREAT SQUIRREL EXTERMINATOR

BILLY THE EXTERMINATOR HAS NOTHING ON ME!   I am keeping my foster home's yard free of squirrels...my siblings help but I am the head gal!  Boy, are squirrels dumb.  They actually think they can out run a greyhound!  NOT  I surprised one so much he ran right into the fence post and fell into the neighbors yard.  My foster Mom laughed so much she cried.  That was alot of fun but then we had to take our power naps.  My foster Mom put some pillows on the patio and we snoozed in the fresh air.  She opened up the umbrella to make sure we had plenty of shade.  Boy oh boy is this living!   I can't wait to get my very own "forever home" if this is what it's like.  Do you have a forever home for me?  I have lots of love to give plus as you see some extra skills for the yard.  :-)

This is me with my foster brother and sister.  Sometmes we just hang out together.  They have been telling me how nice it is to have a "forever home and family".  Gosh I can't wait till I get my very own Forever Home.  Think I will take a nap now and dream about having a forever place.

A Real Sweetheart

Island has been with us for approximately 3 weeks.  She is adjusting well to living in a home environment.  This little gal has such a sweet disposition.  She is very outgoing and a real lovebug.  Island loves playing in the yard and running like the wind.  She seems to have a real joy for life and loves being with people.   Miss Island loves her food and treats.  She is very food motivated, which works well for training her.  This gal has a great desire to please and loves getting praise.  She is a very energetic hound which might be more than little children could handle.  Island and her foster sister have become the official greeters of visitors to our home.  Watch out for those tails, cause they wag like crazy.  Having an active family would be ideal for her and she would be up to the challenge.  If you are looking for a hound who just has the joy of life and lots of unconditional love to give, Miss Island is your gal.  

Had A Greyt Day

Today my foster siblings and I raced around the yard with a stuffie.  We took turns throwing it and running around the yard chasing each other.  Foster mom kept an eye on us so we didn't get too excited.  Whew! what a workout for all of us but it was soooo much fun!  Of course, the only thing better than this, is going inside and finding a nice comfy bed to lay on and take a nap.  Zzzzzzzzz  See ya after my nap...I'll be looking for you.   Do you have a place for me?  If you are looking for a fun loving lovebug...I am your gal.

Enjoying The Weather

I am really enjoying this cooler weather.  I get to stay out in the yard with my tennis ball longer.  Hey, I am getting pretty good at throwing the ball up in the air.  Won't you take me home and we can play catch together.  I will even let you win, every now and then.  
With the weather changing, we could go on walks together.  I do enjoy exploring and seeing new things and people.  All I need is YOU and I will shower you with lots and lots of love.

Toys, Toys and More Toys!

I do love those toys.  I even sit on them...see green ball.  I filled my crate with toys but it wasn't very comfortable in there so I pulled a few out.  When I wasn't looking my foster siblings pulled some out too.  hee hee  Want to play with me, we could have lots of fun together?  I will be waiting for you.

Can YOU Be My BFF?

Just spent my first night in a home!  How exciting it has been and my foster siblings tell me when I get my very own BFF it will be even better.  I have lots of love and sweet kisses to give...could that be you?
Playing with toys has been such an adventure and soooo much fun.  I am told I have lots of energy and would be a great buddy for an active family.  One of the things I have really enjoyed is being able to play in the yard.   It is so much fun playing catch with the tennis ball.  Hey, why don't you and I play catch? 

I hear people saying I have the prettiest face around. My make up artist is the best! They also say I'm a beautiful, petite girl that will steal your heart, that I'm pretty good at. I would love someone to cuddle with me, walk me and love me. Is it you?? I'm waiting!

Little bombshell.

Island Cure came to us a little sick. She was quickly nursed back to health and is now a vibrant, healthy, full-of-life greyhound. She has done a complete turn around. She is a true survivor and fighter. She doesn't take a moment for granted. She is a joy to be around. She is very petite yet full of zest. She will be the life of the party for sure and will get all the attention for just being so gorgeous.

Island Cure is a such a pretty girl. Her "eyeliner" look definitely makes her look like a girl. She's a happy, waggly girl. She's the kind of dog who enjoys whatever she's doing. She loves attention too. You can't help but smile when you're around her.
